IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE USING THIS PLATFORM
FluxIQ is a decision-support tool for qualified Gas Safe registered engineers. It does not replace professional judgement, manufacturer instructions, or any applicable safety regulations. You remain solely responsible for all work carried out on site.
1. Decision-Support Tool Only
FluxIQ provides AI-assisted diagnostic suggestions and reference information to support qualified engineers during fault-finding and repair work. The platform is not a substitute for:
- Hands-on inspection and physical testing of equipment
- Your training, experience, and professional judgement
- Manufacturer service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins
- Gas Safe Register regulations and guidance
- Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and any subsequent amendments
- Building regulations, Part L and any applicable standards
- BS 6798, BS EN 15502, and other relevant codes of practice
2. AI Limitations
FluxIQ uses trusted third-party AI service providers to deliver AI-assisted diagnostic support. AI outputs are decision-support only and must be independently verified by a competent Gas Safe registered engineer.
AI-generated content produced by FluxIQ is generated algorithmically and carries inherent limitations:
- AI suggestions may be incorrect, incomplete, or based on outdated information
- The AI has no physical awareness of the appliance, installation, or site conditions
- Fault codes vary between manufacturers and model generations; always cross-reference with the manufacturer's documentation for the specific appliance in front of you
- AI suggestions do not account for non-standard installations, modifications, or previous repair history unless explicitly provided
All AI-generated recommendations must be independently verified by a competent person before being acted upon. Never rely solely on AI output when making decisions that affect safety.
3. Gas Safety Responsibilities
As a Gas Safe registered engineer you are personally and legally responsible for:
- Conducting all necessary safety checks in accordance with Gas Safe requirements
- Issuing appropriate documentation including Landlord Gas Safety Records, commissioning certificates, and warning notices
- Correctly identifying and reporting Immediately Dangerous and At Risk situations
- Complying with the Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure (GIUSP) at all times
- Ensuring all work is carried out within the scope of your Gas Safe registration and competencies
4. Carbon Monoxide and Serious Hazards
If you suspect or detect a carbon monoxide risk, gas leak, or any immediately dangerous situation, you must follow the Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure immediately. Do not use FluxIQ as your primary guide in an emergency. Follow your training and established safety procedures.
5. No Warranty
FluxIQ is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no warranty that diagnostic suggestions are accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FluxIQ accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of or reliance upon information generated by this platform. This includes but is not limited to: property damage, personal injury, death, carbon monoxide incidents, gas escapes, or financial losses. See the full Terms & Conditions for complete details.
7. Your Acknowledgement
By using FluxIQ you acknowledge and agree that:

- You have read and understood this disclaimer and the Terms & Conditions
- You will apply your own professional judgement to all diagnoses and repair decisions
- You will verify all AI-generated suggestions against manufacturer documentation before acting on them
