Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out the standards you must comply with when using FluxIQ. It supplements the Terms & Conditions. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination.
1. Permitted Use
FluxIQ may be used only for:
- Lawful professional activities related to the diagnosis, servicing, installation, and repair of heating and gas appliances
- Accessing technical reference information and diagnostic assistance in connection with your Gas Safe registered work
- Managing job records, notes, and workflow within your own account
2. Prohibited Activities
You must not use FluxIQ in any manner that:
- Violates any applicable law, regulation, Gas Safe requirement, or professional standard
- Involves submitting false, fraudulent, or misleading information to the platform or to our verification team
- Misrepresents your qualifications, registration status, or identity
- Shares your login credentials with another person or allows others to access the platform through your account
- Attempts to circumvent subscription limits, trial credit restrictions, or access controls
- Submits prompts or queries designed to extract harmful, illegal, or unethical content from the AI system
- Uses the platform in a way that could endanger life, property, or safety
- Harvests, scrapes, or systematically extracts data or content from the platform without written consent
- Reverse engineers, decompiles, or attempts to access the platform's source code, underlying models, or infrastructure
- Transmits viruses, malware, or any code designed to interfere with the platform's operation
- Uses automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the platform without prior written consent
- Resells, sublicenses, or provides access to the platform to third parties
3. AI System Integrity
FluxIQ uses trusted third-party AI service providers to deliver AI-assisted diagnostic support. AI outputs are decision-support only and must be independently verified by a competent Gas Safe registered engineer. The FluxIQ AI diagnostic system is designed solely to assist Gas Safe registered engineers with legitimate professional tasks. You must not attempt to:
- Manipulate or "jailbreak" the AI to produce outputs outside its intended scope
- Probe or test the AI for vulnerabilities in a way that disrupts the service
- Use AI outputs in a context other than professional heating and gas engineering
4. Content Standards
Any content you submit to the platform (job notes, feedback, support messages) must:
- Be accurate and not deliberately misleading
- Not contain personal data about third parties beyond what is strictly necessary
- Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or abusive language
- Not include personally identifiable information about homeowners or customers in diagnostic prompts — refer to appliance models and fault symptoms only
5. Security
You must take reasonable steps to maintain the security of your account and the platform, including:
- Using a strong, unique password for your FluxIQ account
- Not accessing the platform on shared or public devices without logging out
- Reporting suspected security vulnerabilities or unauthorised access to security@fluxiq.app promptly
6. Consequences of Violation
Violation of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions at FluxIQ's discretion:
- Immediate suspension of your account pending investigation
- Permanent termination of your account without refund
- Referral of relevant information to the Gas Safe Register, professional bodies, or law enforcement where appropriate
- Civil or legal action to recover damages arising from the violation
7. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of a violation of this policy by another user, please report it to support@fluxiq.app. Reports are treated confidentially.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
